Parties In Health Care Act Reform Appeal Address Question Of Judicial Review

NEW ORLEANS - Following oral arguments in an appeal challenging the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), the federal government on April 5 filed a letter at the request of the Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals to provide the U.S. Department of Justice's views regarding judicial review of the constitutionality of acts of Congress; the plaintiffs filed a response to the letter on April 9 (Physician Hospitals of America, et al. v.
