Court Did Not Err In Upholding Lower Appraisal Award, 2nd Circuit Affirms

NEW YORK - The Second Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on May 10 found that a lower court properly upheld a $1.3 million appraisal award in an insured's lawsuit seeking $6.3 million in alleged outstanding damages from its excess insurers (Amerex Group Inc., et al. v. Lexington Insurance Company, et al.,  No. 10-4163-cv, 2nd Cir.; 2012 U.S. App. LEXIS 9536).
