1st Circuit Upholds Ruling For Pharmacy Chain In Employee's Disability Bias Suit

BOSTON - The First Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on May 10 upheld the award of summary judgment to a pharmacy chain accused of disability discrimination and retaliation after terminating a store manager who was unable to perform her essential job functions (Pamela A. Jones v. Walgreen Co., et al., No. 11-1917, 1st Cir.; 2012 U.S. App. LEXIS 9549).
