Clothier Big M Says Losses From Hurricane Sandy Forced It To File For Chapter 11

TRENTON, N.J. - Clothing retailer Big M Inc., the parent company of Mandee, Annie Sez and Afaze, on Jan.6 filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey, saying it was forced to file for bankruptcy due to losses suffered from Hurricane Sandy (In Re: Big M Inc., No. 13-10233, Chapter 11, D. N.J. Bkcy.).
