7th Circuit: No Confusion Between Movie Title, Rap Duo

CHICAGO - Allegations of trademark infringement over the hit film "50/50" must fail, the Seventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruled Feb. 21, because a plaintiff is unable to demonstrate the necessary element of confusion (Eastland Music Group v. Lionsgate Entertainment et al., No. 12-2928, N.D. Ill.).
