TRENTON, N.J. - A New Jersey man's claims against an airline after it instituted a credit card-only policy for its in-flight extras are all preempted; but even if they weren't, the plaintiff would be unsuccessful in pursuing a class complaint because he is not a sufficient class representative, a New Jersey Superior Court Appellate Division panel ruled Feb. 25 (Michael Rosen v. Continental Airlines, Inc., No. A-0705-11T1, N.J. Super., App. Div.; 2013 N.J. Super. LEXIS 30).
