Federal Judge Rules On Discovery Issues In Failed Bank Action

PANAMA CITY, Fla. - A federal magistrate judge in Florida on June 14 granted the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.'s motion for entry of protective order relating to discovery in a suit the FDIC brought against the failed Peoples First Community Bank's former directors, finding that the entry of such an order is "necessary and appropriate" (Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. v. Greg M. Brudnicki, et al., No. 12-0398, N.D. Fla.; 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 84056).
