11th Circuit Affirms Order Compelling Arbitration Of Seaman's Injury Claims

ATLANTA - The 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on June 24 affirmed a district court's decision to compel arbitration of a seaman's injury-related claims, finding that he was required to arbitrate all disputes pursuant to Panamanian law under his employment contract (Geovany Quiroz v. MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A., No. 12-15927, 11th Cir.; 2013 U.S. App. LEXIS 12888).
