Web Developer Granted Default Judgment Over 'FakeHack' Site Operator

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - An Internet developer easily met the "modest threshold burden" of demonstrating that it was entitled to default judgment against the operator of a website that copies and archives Web pages, a New York federal judge ruled June 25 (Electronic Creations Corp. v. Gigahertz Inc., et al., No. 5:12-cv-01423, N.D. N.Y.; 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 88805).
