Website's Changing Of Ads Near Article Do Not Trigger Republication, Panel Rules

TRENTON, N.J. - Even though a news website changed the pop-up ads on its website since the original 2008 publication of an article about the plaintiff, a New Jersey appeals panel on June 26 held that this did not constitute republication of the article (Brian Solomon v. Gannett Company Inc., No. A-6160-11T4, N.J. Super., App. Div.; 2013 N.J. Super. Unpub. LEXIS 1581).
