Judge Refuses To Dismiss Conspiracy Claims In Hurricane Isaac Coverage Dispute

NEW ORLEANS - Insureds have sufficiently stated a claim for civil conspiracy liability against a homeowners insurer and an adjuster, a Louisiana federal judge ruled June 27, refusing to dismiss the conspiracy claims in a coverage dispute over property damage stemming from Hurricane Issac (Faye Olivier, et al v. Republic Fire and Casualty Insurance Co., et al., No. 13-4689; E.D. La.; 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 90494).
