Federal Judge Vacates Orders Dismissing 2 Lawsuits Against Insurer's Rehabilitator

MADISON, Wis. - A Wisconsin federal judge on July 10 vacated two previous opinions dismissing consolidated lawsuits involving the rehabilitator of an insurance company and the United States of America concerning claims for injunctive relief (In the matter of the rehabilitation of Ambac Assurance Corp., No. 10-778; Theodore K. Nickel, commissioner of insurance of the state of Wisconsin v. United States of America & United States of America v. Wisconsin State Circuit Court for Dane County, et al., No. 11-99, W.D. Wis.; 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 96362).
