Flu Victim's Estate Wins Reversal Of Judgment In Wrongful Death Case

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - A trial court erred in excluding an infectious disease specialist's testimony from a medical malpractice case resulting from an untreated influenza death, a New Mexico Court of Appeals panel held July 17 in reversing summary judgment for the defendant doctor and hospital (Peter J. Holzem, et al. v. Presbyterian Healthcare Services, et al., No. 30,294, N.M. App.; 2013 N.M. App. LEXIS 63).
