Illinois Appeals Panel: Railroad Worker's Injury Was Not Foreseeable

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - The Fourth District Illinois Appellate Court on July 29 affirmed summary judgment for a railroad named as the defendant in a workplace injury action, concluding that the plaintiff failed to show that a known dangerous condition on the defendant's property caused his knee injury (Frederick Lee Reynolds v. Union Pacific Railroad Co., No. 4-12-1001, Ill. App., 4th Dist.; 2013 Ill. App. Unpub. LEXIS 1636).
