2nd Circuit: Use Of Copyrighted Work Was Authorized

NEW YORK - A New York federal judge properly dismissed infringement allegations stemming from an attorney's use of copyrighted materials in class action litigation, the Second Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruled Aug. 20 in a case of first impression (Unclaimed Property Recovery Service Inc. et al. v. Norman Kaplan, No. 12-4030, 2nd Cir.).
