4th Circuit Affirms Preclusion Ruling In Copyright Case

RICHMOND, Va. - A North Carolina federal judge did not err in granting a copyright infringement plaintiff summary judgment after giving preclusive effect to issues resolved in a previous lawsuit, the Fourth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruled Aug. 20 (Universal Furniture International Inc. v. Paul Frankel, No. 12-1928, 4th Cir.; 2013 U.S. App. LEXIS 17378).
