Insurer Is Liable For Only 1 Occurrence, Alaska High Court Says

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Injuries caused by a teen's use of his parents' handgun constitute a single occurrence because it was the single act of firing the gun that caused the injuries, the Alaska Supreme Court said Aug. 16 (United Services Automobile Association v. Mary E. Neary et al., Nos. S-14580/14600, Alaska Sup.; 2013 Alas. LEXIS 102).
