SAN FRANCISCO - A California federal judge found a settlement agreement between Facebook Inc. and a group of its users, who claim that their likenesses were used in advertisements without their consent, to be "a good faith, arms-length attempt . . . to resolve $(the$) matter through compromise," granting final approval on Aug. 26 (Angel Fraley, et al. v. Facebook, Inc., No. 11-1726, N.D. Calif.).
