KALAMAZOO, Mich. - A federal judge in Michigan on Sept. 26 found that NCR Corp. and International Paper Co. (IP) are liable under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) for contributing to polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) contamination at the Kalamazoo River Superfund site and responsible for some response costs at the property (Georgia-Pacific Consumer Products LP, et al. v. NCR Corporation, et al., No. 11-CV-483, S.D. Mich.; 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 138157).
