Kansas Appeals Panel Revives Couple's Claims For Construction Defects

TOPEKA, Kan. - In a 2-1 decision, the Kansas Court of Appeals on Oct. 11 overturned summary judgment for the defendant in a construction defect case, concluding that the plaintiff's claims were not time-barred (George Hewitt, et al. v. Kirk's Remodeling and Custom Homes Inc., No. 108,159, Kan. App.; 2013 Kan. App. LEXIS 87).
