Magistrate Refuses To Add Agent As Defendant In Dispute Arising From Tropical Storm

NEW HAVEN Conn. - A Connecticut federal magistrate judge on Oct. 11 denied an insured's motion to amend his complaint to add an insurance agent as a defendant in the insured's lawsuit seeking coverage under a Standard Flood Insurance Policy (SFIP) for property damage caused by Tropical Storm Irene (Moshe Azoulay v. Allstate Insurance Co., et ux., No. 3:12 CV 1693 [JBA], D. Conn.; 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 147277).
