Federal Judge Makes Discovery Rulings In Suit Against Bank Executives

CHICAGO - A federal judge in Illinois on Oct. 23 granted in part and denied in part motions related to discovery of email search terms in a suit the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., as the receiver for the failed Broadway Bank, filed against former officers and directors of the bank to recover approximately $114 million in the bank's loan losses (Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. v. Demetris Giannoulias, et al., No. 12-01665, N.D. Ill.; 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 152092).
