Massachusetts Panel: Home Inspection Identified Possible Construction Defects

BOSTON - The Massachusetts Appeals Court on Oct. 21 affirmed a defense verdict in a construction defects case involving allegedly undisclosed foundation issues in a home sold by the property's original owners, agreeing that the plaintiffs had notice of potential problems from a home inspection report (Robert A. LaFranchise Jr., et al. v. Keith P. Fontaine, et al., No. 12-P-1497, Mass. App.; 2013 Mass. App. Unpub. LEXIS 994).
