Consumer Failed To State Valid Fair Credit Reporting Act Violation, Judge Rules

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Although a consumer's Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) complaint was not filed in violation of the statutory requirements of the act, dismissal is warranted because the consumer failed to state a valid claim, a federal judge in Florida ruled Oct. 22 (Ziv Rapapport v. Green Tree Servicing LLC, No. 13-61624, S.D. Fla.; 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 151521).
