Federal Judge Says Borrower Lacks Standing To Challenge Securitization

OAKLAND, Calif. - A federal judge in California on Nov. 8 dismissed a borrower's suit challenging the validity of the assignment of his mortgage from the failed Washington Mutual Bank (WaMu) to JPMorgan Chase Bank N.A. (Chase) as well as the securitization of the loan, finding that he lacks standing (Richard Dahnken v. Wells Fargo Bank N.A., et al., No. 13-2838, N.D. Calif.; 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 160686).
