Michigan Appeals Panel Upholds Decision For Retailer In Personal Injury Action

DETROIT - The Michigan Court of Appeals on Nov. 12 affirmed summary judgment for a grocery store named as the defendant in a slip-and-fall injury case, agreeing that the plaintiff failed to show how long an allegedly dangerous condition existed prior to her accident (Nancy Duncan v. Meijer Inc., No. 313952, Mich. App.; 2013 Mich. App. LEXIS 1809).
