3rd Circuit Affirms Decision For Construction Firm In Personal Injury Case

PHILADELPHIA - The Third Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Dec. 13 upheld summary judgment for a home builder named as the defendant in a personal injury action, concluding that a man's injuries were not the result of design defects in his home (James S. Calender, et al. v. NVR Inc., No. 12-4132, 3rd Cir.; 2013 U.S. App. LEXIS 24769).
