5th Circuit Affirms Dismissal Of Bankruptcy For Failure To Prosecute Appeal

NEW ORLEANS - A panel of the Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Dec. 31 affirmed a district court's dismissal of a bankruptcy appeal on grounds that the debtor failed to prosecute the appeal because he waited nearly 10 months to file his appeal brief (Howard D. Kollinger v. R. Mark Hoyle $(In Re: Howard D. Kollinger$), No. 13-40512, Chapter 7, 5th Cir.; 2013 U.S. App. LEXIS 25902).
