Compound Pharmacy, Insurers Create $100M Fund For Victims Of Meningitis Outbreak

BOSTON - Bankrupt New England Compounding Pharmacy and its insurers have agreed in principle to contribute more than $100 million to a compensation fund for patients who were injured or killed by fungal meningitis after receiving contaminated steroid made by the pharmacy, the parties said Dec. 23 in a news release (In Re: New England Compounding Pharmacy Inc., No. 12-19882, D.
