Vice Chancellor Imposes Sanctions Against Former Owner Of Insolvent Insurer

WILMINGTON, Del. - A Delaware vice chancellor on Jan. 2 imposed sanctions ordering the former owner of an insolvent insurer to pay $33,331 and reimburse the insurer for all towing costs and other expenses the insurer incurred due to the manner in which the former owner returned vehicles (In the matter of the rehabilitation of Indemnity Insurance Corp., RRG, No. 8601-VCL, Del. Chanc.; 2014 Del. Ch. LEXIS 1).
