MF Global Investor's Case Should Be Dismissed, Corzine Says

NEW YORK - Jon S. Corzine, the former CEO of bankrupt MF Global Holdings Inc. (MFGH), on Jan. 9 filed a letter in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York contending that the lawsuit filed against him by an individual investor and federal regulators alleging that he violated the Commodities Exchange Act (CEA) should be dismissed because it fails to show that he made more than one illegal transfer of $200 million (Roberta A. Deangelis v. Jon S. Corzine, No. 11-7866, S.D. N.Y.).
