VENTURA, Calif. - A California appeals court on Jan. 13 affirmed a decision to deny a mold inspector's motion to strike a complaint against him, finding that the owner of an inn submitted sufficient evidence to show that the inspector made false statements about the property being contaminated with mold (PG Inn Inc. v. Chris Gatward, et al., No. B248589, Calif. App., 2nd Dist., Div. 6; 2014 Cal. App. Unpub. LEXIS 186).
