DETROIT - A creditor of the bankrupt City of Detroit on Feb. 10 moved in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan for relief from the automatic stay to pursue litigation against the city aimed at recovering $6.8 million related to an underlying jury verdict in Michigan state court (In Re: City of Detroit, No. 13-53846, Chapter 9, E.D. Mich. Bkcy.).
