Mealey's IP/Tech - Federal Circuit Says Jurisdiction Lacking, Vacates Injunction

WASHINGTON, D.C. - A preliminary injunction barring a defendant from using various materials and processes first developed by a plaintiff was vacated March 26 by the Federal Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, which found that the case does not present a sufficient controversy concerning inventorship (StoneEagle Services Inc. v. David Gillman, No. 13-1248, Fed. Cir.).
