MONTPELIER, Vt. - A fire causation expert lacked the chemistry background to opine that fumes from an e-cigarette manufacturer ignited a fire that damaged a neighboring business, the Vermont Supreme Court held April 11 in affirming his exclusion (Johnathan Lasek v. Vermont Vapor, et al., No. 2013-143, Vt. Sup.; 2014 Vt. LEXIS 31).
