Mealey's Litigation Procedure - Federal Judge Remands Biomedical Company's Claim For Lack Of Jurisdiction

SAN DIEGO - After finding that it lacked jurisdiction under the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards action over a biomedical company's claim for fraudulent conveyance and avoidable transfer, a California federal judge on April 18 remanded the claim to a state court (MediVas LLC, et al. v. Marubeni Corp., et al., No. 10-CV-1001, S.D. Calif.; 2014 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 54380).
