Mealey's IP/Tech - Locksmith's Libel, RICO Claims Over Yelp Review Dismissed By Federal Judge

SEATTLE - A Washington federal judge on May 7 held that a locksmith's complaint related to negative, and allegedly false, reviews about it on a consumer review website was precluded by the Communications Decency Act (CDA), meriting dismissal (Douglas L. Kimzey v. Yelp Inc., No. 2:13-cv-01734, W.D. Wash.; 2014 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 63366).
