NEW ORLEANS - After determining that a trial court did not err in finding that a secretary for a mortgage registration system was fraudulently joined as a defendant, the Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals affirmed a ruling that refused to remand to state court an action filed by homeowners seeking to enjoin a foreclosure sale (Gabriel P. Gonzales, et al. v. Bank of America, N.A., et al., No. 13- 50957, 5th Cir.; 2014 U.S. App. LEXIS 12397).
