NEW ORLEANS - A Louisiana federal judge on July 1 granted a federal flood insurer's motion to dismiss an insured's claims for declaratory judgment, state law and extracontractual tort claims for pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney fees and penalties in a dispute over Hurricane Isaac coverage (Cynthia W. Bowie v. American Security Insurance Co., et al., No. 13-5698 SECTION: "S" [5], E.D. La.; 2014 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 89405).
