Mealey's Insurance - Virginia Federal Judge Denies Request To Reopen Disability Suit

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - A Virginia federal judge on July 1 refused to allow an insured to reopen a long-term disability coverage case six years after a final judgment was issued because the insured provided no valid reason for reopening the case (Provident Life and Accident Insurance Co. v. Kevin M. Clarke, No. 06-792, E.D. Va.; 2014 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 89597).
