NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Insureds sufficiently assert claims for breach of contract and bad faith against their homeowners insurer regarding denied coverage for damage to their home's basement walls, a Connecticut federal judge ruled July 21 (Steven Karas and Gail Karas v. Liberty Insurance Corp., No. 13-01836, D. Conn.; 2014 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 98322).
