Mealey's Banking & Finance - Federal Judge Dismisses Homeowner's Bad Faith Claims Against Lender

GREENVILLE, Miss. - After determining that a Mississippi federal court had jurisdiction over a homeowner's bad faith and other claims against a lender, a federal judge on Aug. 19 granted a bank's motion to dismiss the case (Martha Davis v. Bank of America, N.A., et al., No. 4:13-CV-00116, N.D. Miss.; 2014 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 115073).
