Patricia A. Tyler
was born in Salt Lake City,
Utah. She attended Utah State University for her undergraduate degree.
She received her J.D. from Pace University
School of law and an
LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law. She was admitted to the New
York bar and New Jersey
bars in 2001.
Ms. Tyler worked for several years in private practice as an
estate and tax attorney and is currently a Lexis Federal Tax Analyst. She currently edits and updates the Lexis Tax Advisor-Federal Code Reporter, Lexis Tax Advisor -Federal Topical, and
the Matthew Bender treatises Taxation of Securities Transactions and Taxation of Public Utilities. Her
topic areas include trust, estate and gift tax and exempt organizations. She
is also the author of an article for Bender's Business Tax Articles
titled "Changes to the Landscape of Securities Transactions."
Ms. Tyler currently resides in Utah with her family.
