Will there be tax reform? I think there has to be. But I don't think it will look like theTax Reform Act of 1986... a few of the reasons I think that come right out of "Gucci Gulch."

First of all, President Ronald Reagan personally believed in tax reform. President Barack Obama doesn't know what tax reform is. He just thinks it's a way to get more money. Visionary leadership matters...

Many Democrats and Republicans worked together to get the 1986 tax reform... There were alignments of interests. Our current lawmakers don't have that...

Public sentiment also drives tax reform... We don't have that now. And that's where the press comes in.The more the press covers tax reform, the more discontent will start boiling in the public.
