Nixon Peabody Names Washington, DC Partner Kenneth Silverberg New Global Tax Practice Leader

Washington, DC. International law firm Nixon Peabody LLP announces that Washington, DC, partner Kenneth H. Silverberg has been selected to lead the firm’s Global Tax practice group.

Mr. Silverberg, a tax attorney and a veteran of practice as a CPA and former tax partner with Arthur Andersen & Co., will oversee the group. Mr. Silverberg’s practice focuses on counseling and representing corporate clients and others in tax and business matters. He will be supported by Paris partner Claire Deléris and San Francisco partner Paul DiSangro, who will serve as deputy practice group leaders of the Global Tax group.

“Clients are continuing to turn to us as the legal complexities of tax-related matters continue to evolve and increase,” said Charles P. Jacobs, chair of the Business & Finance department. “Ken’s experience and successes well position him to lead this dynamic team as they continue to deliver innovative solutions and full-service representation to our clients.”

Mr. Silverberg is admitted to practice in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. He is a member of the American, District of Columbia, and Virginia bar associations, and of the American and DC Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Silverberg is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and the University of Michigan with a B.A. in economics.
