McDermott Will & Emery LLP Announces 2010 Partner Promotions

McDermott Will & Emery LLP is pleased to announce that the following lawyers have been promoted to partner effective January 1, 2010:

Ira B. Mirsky (Washington, D.C.) focuses on tax controversy matters related to employee compensation, fringe and welfare benefits, and deferred compensation arrangements. In addition, Ira handles many employment tax and information reporting issues, as well as IRS examinations and tax due diligence matters. Leah Samit Robinson (New York) focuses her practice on state and local taxation with particular emphasis on multi-state controversy matters and multi-state tax planning.  Ms. Robinson regularly provides income/franchise tax, sales and use tax, and FIN48-related advice and representation to her clients.  Prior to joining McDermott in 2006, Ms. Robinson was with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel's Large and Mid-Size Business Division, where she was a memeber of the strategic trial attorney team litigating the largest transfer pricing case in history.
