Intervention In California VPPA Suit Against Facebook Denied; Settlement Approved
SAN JOSE, Calif. - A California federal judge on Oct. 23 denied a motion to intervene in a Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA) class action in that state filed by three woman who are plaintiffs in a similar suit in a Texas federal court and granted a motion for preliminary approval of a settlement agreement (Sean Lane, et al. v.
