National Law Journal, HealthCare Law, Legal Times, Public Contract Law Journal and the
Computer Law Reporter. He is also general counsel to Big Brothers/Big Sisters and is a member of Paul Hastings' Corporate Compliance, Government Investigations and White Collar Defense Group
As a former trial lawyer and United States assistant attorney, Behre has represented and defended corporations and individuals in civil and criminal investigations of alleged business crimes and civil fraud, including government contract fraud, securities fraud, bribery, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations and antitrust violations. He has litigated government contract cases before the General Services Board of Contract Appeals, the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals and the General Accounting Office. He has also prosecuted approximately 50 jury trials before the United States District Court and the Superior Court for the District of Columbia.
Prior to his appointment as a United States assistant attorney in 1989, Behre practiced government contract and commercial contract law with the Washington, D.C., law firms of Hogan & Hartson and Pettit & Martin.
