Robert Clifford is a general litigation expert, and author of California Automobile Insurance Law and the annual revisions for California Tort Law, both published by LexisNexis. He is also a contributing author to several other Matthew Bender and LexisNexis publications, including California Mechanics' Lien Law, Construction Industry Practice and California Insurance Law and Practice. He is also the co-author of California Trial Techniques, author of California Insurance Disputes and contributing author to publications of the California Continuing Education of the Bar on contested probate proceedings.
Clifford is a law firm consultant, as well as an arbitrator and mediator for insurance and litigation matters. He was previously a senior partner of a law firm based in Oakland, Calif., where he represented major insurance companies in litigation and coverage matters.
