More on ImmigrationDaniel M. Kowalski is a leading expert on immigration law. He is editor-in-chief of Bender's Immigration Bulletin and update editor of Matthew Bender's Immigration Law and Procedure: Desk Edition, as well as a private immigration attorney in Austin, Texas.
He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America (1997-2004), and was recently recognized by the University of Southern California's Annenberg School of Communication and the Institute for Justice and Journalism as a recipient of one of 16 Border Justice Fellowships. Other awards and honors include Pro Bono Attorney of the Year, Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (1998); Special President's Award, Denver Bar Association (1998); and Pro Bono Award, American Immigration Lawyers Association (1993).
